Terms of Use
Last updated: October 3, 2026 · 1Cleaner and 1Scanner · iOS and Android
These terms apply to 1Cleaner and 1Scanner for iPhone, iPad and Android (each the "App"), developed by Antosha ("we", "us") under the 1Buck Apps brand. Features and their availability differ by app, platform and version. Platform-specific terms below apply only to the version you use.
1. Using the App
You may use the App for personal use or for your work and business on compatible devices you own or control, subject to applicable law and the rules of the store where you obtained it.
For the iOS and iPadOS versions, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) applies. These terms add details specific to our apps; if they conflict with that EULA, the EULA prevails. For the Android versions distributed through Google Play, these terms and the applicable Google Play terms govern your use; Apple's EULA does not apply to Android.
2. Free features and Premium
1Cleaner's cleaning tools and 1Scanner's scanning and document tools can be used for free. Free use includes dismissible reminders and daily limits on some actions, such as Swipe Clean decisions in 1Cleaner or scanned pages in 1Scanner. The applicable limit is shown in the App. Optional Premium removes these reminders and daily limits; it does not change the capabilities of your device or the supported file formats and recognition languages.
3. Subscriptions
Premium is offered as an auto-renewing subscription: weekly (US $0.99), monthly (US $2.99) or yearly (US $19.99). These are base prices in US dollars, excluding VAT and other local taxes. The store's purchase screen shows the amount and billing period before you confirm. Standard plans have no free trial or introductory offer.
App Store purchases
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. See Apple's cancellation instructions.
- Request a refund through Apple; eligibility follows Apple's refund policies and applicable law.
- App Store offer codes, where available, follow the eligibility, duration and renewal terms shown when redeemed and have no cash value. A subscription period granted by a code may renew at the regular price unless cancelled as stated in those terms. A lifetime Premium entitlement granted by a code is a one-time entitlement and does not renew.
Google Play purchases
- Payment is processed by Google Play using the payment method associated with your Google Account. Subscriptions renew for the selected period unless cancelled before renewal.
- Manage or cancel in Google Play › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. See Google Play's cancellation instructions.
- Refund eligibility and the request process follow Google Play's refund policies and applicable law.
Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; access normally continues until the end of the period already paid for. A refund or revoked purchase may end access earlier. Contact us if you need help identifying your purchase or finding the appropriate support channel.
4. Your content and deletions
Review your selections and the App's confirmation before removing content. Keep independent backups of important files. Recovery depends on the type of content, the platform and the storage provider; not every action is reversible.
- 1Cleaner on iOS: photo and video deletion uses the iOS confirmation dialog and normally moves items to Recently Deleted for 30 days. Files usually move to Recently Deleted in Files; where an On My iPhone file cannot be moved there, the App asks separately before permanent deletion. Contact merges and calendar deletions have their own confirmation and recovery rules described in the App.
- 1Cleaner on Android: supported photos and videos use Android's trash on Android 11 and later. Other files, and media on Android 10, may be deleted permanently after confirmation. Emptying trash is permanent. Do not assume all removed items can be restored.
- 1Scanner: review recognized text, document edits and exported copies before relying on or sharing them. Recently Deleted applies to documents where the App provides it, not to every kind of edit or stored item. Keep exported copies outside the App if you need them after uninstalling.
1Scanner's signature and stamp tools place marks on documents; they do not certify a signer's identity or guarantee acceptance by a recipient or authority. Check that any document, signature, watermark or hidden-data copy meets your recipient's requirements. The App does not guarantee that a QR code or the destination it opens is safe.
5. Third-party services
Some features rely on third-party platform services, such as Apple's App Store, Google Play and system document scanners. If you choose to open a link, share a document or save to a cloud folder, the destination service's terms and privacy policy apply. We are not responsible for those services' availability or changes. Our data practices are described in the Privacy Policy and its links to each app's policy.
6. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We work hard to make it reliable, but we cannot guarantee that it will be error-free or that results (such as detected duplicates, freed space or recognized text) will meet every expectation. This does not affect rights or guarantees that applicable consumer law provides.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date above.
