Questions about 1Chinese for iPhone
Which HSK levels will 1Chinese cover?
The first public release will include HSK 1, 2, 3 and 4. The current preview screenshots show the working HSK 1 course. 1Chinese is coming soon for iPhone.
Can I learn Chinese for free?
Yes. Get 1 lesson, 1 new-word deck of 6 words and 2 practice sets each day, plus 1 mini exam in total. Due word reviews and My mistakes stay unlimited. Gold adds full mocks, unlimited local practice and AI with credits.
Does 1Chinese work offline?
Bundled lessons, objective exercises, vocabulary reviews and Mandarin audio work offline. AI conversations, speech recognition and free-text checks need internet, an active Gold subscription and credits.
Does the AI tutor score my Chinese tones?
No. Speech recognition and feedback work from the transcript; they do not reliably measure tone accuracy. Listen to the bundled Mandarin audio and practise repeating it.
Are the mocks official HSK papers?
No. Our practice material is original, and 1Chinese is independent of HSK exam organizers. Practice scores and AI feedback do not certify a level or guarantee an exam pass.
What happens to my learning data?
Your learning history stays on your phone. When you use AI, necessary text and recordings are processed through our server and AI providers. The Privacy Policy explains retention, purchases and support.
