Merge PDF files and images into one PDF

Add PDFs, JPGs and PNGs, put the files — or single pages — in order and download one PDF. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays text and nothing is re-compressed. Your files stay on your device.

How to merge PDF files into one

  1. Add your PDFs and pictures, all at once or a few at a time.
  2. Put the files in order; drag single pages, turn them or remove the ones you don't need.
  3. Download the merged PDF.

What happens to your pages when you merge

  • PDF pages are copied as they are: text, pictures and links stay the same quality.
  • Each picture becomes a page of its own, as long as an A4 page on its longer side.
  • Bookmarks and form fields of the merged files may not carry over.
  • There is no file limit; very large merges are limited only by your browser's memory.
Privacy

Merge PDFs without uploading them

  • Your files are opened and changed by your browser, on your device. They are never sent to our server or to anyone else.
  • No account, no sign-up, no email.
  • No ads, no analytics, no tracking scripts, and this site sets no cookies.
  • Signatures and stamps you add are kept only in this browser, so they are there next time; the browser may clear them.
  • Your original file never changes: every result is a new file that your browser downloads.

Merge PDF: questions

How do I merge PDF files into one for free?

Add the PDFs here, put them in order and download one PDF. It's free, with no account and no limit on the number of files.

Can I combine PDF and JPG files into one PDF?

Yes. Add PDFs and pictures together; each picture becomes a page, in the order you choose.

Can I merge PDFs without uploading them?

Yes. Merging happens in your browser on your device; the files are never sent anywhere.

Does merging reduce the quality?

No. Pages are copied as they are, not re-compressed. If the merged file is too big, compress it afterwards.

Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?

No fixed limit. Very large files can be too much for a browser tab, especially on a phone; 1Scanner for Mac handles big documents better.

Will bookmarks and form fields be kept?

Page content, links and pictures are kept. Bookmarks and form fields of the merged files may be lost.
