1Cleaner vs CleanMy®Phone by MacPaw
CleanMy®Phone is the iPhone cleaner from MacPaw, the company behind CleanMyMac. Among the paid cleaners it is the reasonable one: a yearly plan instead of a $4–12 weekly plan, a calm interface and a known developer. 1Cleaner is our answer to the same problem at about half the price and with nothing collected. This page is written by the 1Cleaner developer; every fact about CleanMy®Phone links to its public App Store page.
The 30-second verdict. Both apps find similar photos, duplicates and large videos on your device, merge duplicate contacts, compress videos, turn Live Photos into smaller stills and let you review before deleting. CleanMy®Phone has years of polish, an AI picker for the best shot in a group and separate Gemini Photos plans. 1Cleaner adds files cleanup for folders you choose, old calendar events, a Private Vault and a reversible App Bin, costs $19.99 a year instead of $36.99, and its privacy label is Data Not Collected while CleanMy®Phone's declares tracking and third-party advertising.
1Cleaner vs CleanMy®Phone: price
| 1Cleaner | CleanMy®Phone | |
|---|---|---|
| Free tier | Every tool works for free; dismissible support prompts before actions; 10 free Swipe Clean swipes a day shared across collections | Free download; the listing describes a 3-day free trial of the yearly plan |
| Weekly plan | $0.99, period printed on the button | None listed |
| Monthly plan | $2.99 | $7.99 (CleanMyPhone); Gemini Photos access $2.99 or $4.99 |
| Yearly plan | $19.99 | $36.99 (CleanMyPhone); Gemini Photos access $19.99 or $39.99 |
| One-time option | Not sold; lifetime Premium comes only with offer codes | "Unlimited access" $34.99 listed as an in-app purchase, with no billing period stated |
| A year on the monthly plan | $35.88 | $95.88 |
Credit where due: no $8-a-week plan and an "Unlimited access" option put CleanMy®Phone in a different league from the $4 to $12 a week cleaners covered in our 2026 cleaner guide. The gap with 1Cleaner is still almost two to one on the yearly plan, and 1Cleaner adds a $0.99 weekly plan you can cancel after one cleanup.
1Cleaner base prices are in US dollars, without VAT and other local taxes. Competitor amounts are the listed US App Store purchases checked October 5, 2026; the offer shown in the app may differ.
CleanMy®Phone vs 1Cleaner: privacy label, side by side
| 1Cleaner | CleanMy®Phone | |

| Label summary | Data Not Collected | Tracking declared; advertising data not linked to you |
| Where photos are analyzed | On your device only | Described as on-device analysis in its listing |

MacPaw's label is milder than most of the category: nothing is declared as linked to your identity. It still declares tracking, which under Apple's definition means data is linked with third-party data for advertising or shared with a data broker. 1Cleaner has no analytics, advertising or attribution SDK at all, which is why its label is empty.

Where CleanMy®Phone is better than 1Cleaner
- Track record. MacPaw has shipped Mac utilities since 2008; its iPhone cleaner has years of releases behind it. 1Cleaner is new.

- Email cleanup. Its version history lists an Email Cleanup tool. 1Cleaner does not access or clean email.
- "Unlimited access" option. A $34.99 "Unlimited access" purchase is listed, with no billing period stated. 1Cleaner does not sell a one-time purchase.

- Nothing collected. Data Not Collected, no tracking, no advertising data, no account.
